Concerts

The Choir have played at various functions over the years and these have included:

• A concert at Straiton Parish Church
• A concert at the Hospice Christmas Fair at Ayr Racecourse,
• Welcoming the Ayr Hospital Volunteers at their ‘Thank you’  evening
• A session of Christmas carol playing at Asda in Ayr in aid of SeAscape
• The Holy Fair at Mauchline,
• Maclaurin Galleries set within the grounds of Rozelle Park.
• Garden Parties at Brig o’Doon House Hotel and Lochgreen House Hotel Troon  in aid of The Ayrshire Hospice.
• A variety concert  at Auchinleck Chapel Hall.

We have  played at the Burns an ‘a’ that Festival on a few occasions, and one of the concerts, at Dean Castle, was an entire programme of the music of Derick Kirkwood, our composer from Mauchline.

We have also played at the wedding of a former member, Morag McMurray at the Lochside House Hotel .
